We just received a big shipment of DS products, filling most of the gaps in our DS selection that we have had due to a drawn-out change in US distributors. The shipment included several new items including complete timing and scoring system packages for 2 and 4-lane tracks. DS prices have gone up somewhat since the change but they are still quite reasonable for what you get. Unless you have the desire and the space for a PC-based system DS is the best solution out there for any home or club racer who wants to go beyond the lap counters sold by the race set manufacturers. DS systems are compact, durable, reliable, and equipped with all the functions most of us will ever need for our home tracks.

Slot Cars at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles
Slot cars are rolling into the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles on Saturday. The Farrout Slot Car Club and the museum are hosting an event from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis relief group MS Friends. The club is also hoping to put the popularity of slot cars in the U.S. back on track.
