Scalextric C3727 Ford GT40 – Le Mans 1966
Le Mans 1966 was somewhat of a glory year for Ford. Their plan to defeat Ferrari at the famous race came to fruition when they flooded the field with no less than 13 cars! Given the attrition rate, only 15 of the 55 cars finished the race but in the top three positions… the only Ford GT40s left running! The Wire Corporation Team entered two cars, numbers 59 and 60, both unfortunately had to retire in 24th and 27th place.
