We’re BACK!
The line-up has been announced for the 5th annual Greystone Mansion Concours d’Elegance, which will take place on Sunday, May 4, from 10 am to 4 pm. And ElectricSreams and the Los Angeles Slot Car Museum will be a part of the festivities again this year!
Following the attendance success of our 2013 display, we were invited back to the 2014 Concours d‘Elegance at the Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills, CA. Bluntly stated, peple love our slot car collection!
The display will be attended to by noted author Robert Schleicher, museum owner Scott Bader, and Los Angeles Slot Car Museum curator Philippe de Lespinay.
We hope you’ll join us – it is an amazing event! But if you can’t, don’t fret… We’ll be taking lots of pictures (and video too)!
The updated display will be larger than last year’s as the Greystone is giving us the whole main room of the mansion. If you were there last year you’ll remember we had to share it with other exhibitors and it was a bit noisy. Not this year – it’s all ours!
What Else is There?
The Greystone Mansion concours field will feature 175 exceptional automobiles and motorcycles, focusing on 16 classes of vintage, classic cars from recognized marques manufactured before 1975.
The 2014 lineup includes the 60th Anniversary of the Porsche Speedster, with approximately two dozen examples, including the very last one produced. Other Porsches will include 356 and 911 models.
The 50th anniversary of the legendary Mustang will also be celebrated, with approximately a dozen cars, including production classics and Shelby GTs. Also to be shown will be Cobras such as factory competition cars and one of the just 32 “narrow hip” 427’s made.
Other notable cars on display at the event include Italian cars represented by rare examples of the Alfa Romeo SZ and TZ models, and Ferrari’s such as a 250 GT Lusso, 250 GT Short Wheelbase Berlinetta and 365 GTB/4 Daytona. A Talbot, Facel Vega and Dual-Ghia will also be on display.
