DS systems are not cheap, but they will perform all the timing and scoring functions most home racers will ever need. Every DS system is light, compact, and reliable. We've seen them keep going strong for years under conditions bordering on outright abuse. The system's modular design lets you move your DS system from one manufacturer's track to another simply by changing light bridges. New adjustable light bridges can be used with all the different 1/32 and 1/24 scale plastic track systems as well as routed tracks. DS systems time every lap to .001 sec. and retain in memory the two fastest lap times on each lane from the race or qualifying session until reset. They can score races of up to 999 laps. Race duration can be programmed by either time or number of laps. Large red lighted LED numbers make the display easy to read even from a distance.
