This new version of the Flat-6 motor has two different case sides - open and close - for convenience.
The shaft, on the pinion side, is shorter than the older versions, leaving more space for wheels when the motor is installed in anglewinder position.
This motor is used as stock on all the Slot.it 'GT' and 'LMP' models.

Slot.it motors come in three different shapes: traditional V12/4, the longer Boxer-type, and the proprietary Flat-6.
1.) The V12/4 motors feature a double axle, which makes it a universal motor upgrade for cars of most makers. Further, a special RX adapter is available to upgrade cars with such a ‘RX’ motor to a V12 one.
2.) The Boxer-type motors are an ideal upgrade for the bigger motors found on some cars. They can also be used as inline or anglewinder.
3.) The Flat-6 is designed to be both compatible with the existing Boxer/NC type motor pods, and to take advantage of a lower center of gravity when used with Slot.it motor pods, due to its slim form. This makes it possible to use in an anglewinder configuration under streamlined LMP racers.
