1/32nd scale. Resin body. Hand-made in Le Mans, France.
For the Tours GP in 1923, which took place just 1 month after the first 24 Hours of Le Mans, Ettore Bugatti designed a brand new, very avant-garde car, the T32, quickly nicknamed the tank, like Gabriel Voisin whose model was called the dragonfly.
Its bodywork is fully enveloping for better penetration in the air, which nevertheless makes it difficult to drive.
Out of the 18 cars entered, Bugatti enters 4. They are entrusted to more or less experienced drivers. Number 11 is driven by Baron Pedro de Vizcayal, who sets the best time of the Bugattis in testing but who does not even complete the first lap and retires in an accident at La Membrolle.
