Driven by Johnny Servoz-Gavin and Henri Pescarolo for Equipe Matra Sports at the 1968 24h of Le Mans. The car did not finish due to a fire in hour 22.
HISTORY
Matra came to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1968 as an experimental outing. The MS630 n°24 was the only Matra entered in that year's race.
The 1968 MS630 saw its wheelbase lengthened compared to the 1967 version, with the total length of the car increased from 428 to 450 cm. The rear tracks are widened and the rear hood completely remodeled. Seita blue replaces Valentine blue.
