This model, after being requisitioned by the German army, was captured by the French Forces of the Interior (FFI) in 1944, and would serve its purpose in the liberation of Paris. Adorned with the French flag on the roof to avoid being confused with a German target, it would be etched in everyone's memory thanks to the letters FFI on the side doors. Since then it has become an emblem of the French resistance.
