RACED AND AUTOGRAPHED BY SCOTT DIXON
This car was used during the Chip Ganassi Racing event at Electric Dreams. Car is reviewed and sold as new condition, but it was raced by the driver.
Introducing the new 124SR scale cars from DG Slot Racing. They are handmade and imported from Brazil using 0.5mm Lexan bodies, which look like hardbodies, bringing performance and great looks. These cars can be chipped for Carrera Digital and will also fit the 1/24 Scaleauto Pro-Track.
The 124SR is a new class in the US. Very popular in Europe, these cars are real 1/24 scale replicas of a racing car. No alterations on the body, no thin plastic. True scale. You can find in the market cars made by BRM, Niemas Racing Cars, Gecko, Slotfabrik, Scaleauto, and now DG Slot Racing using the approach of the 124SR class.
Scaleauto provides an extensive variety of parts and tires with different compounds. The soft compound tire is perfect for any plastic surface.
Of course, the 1/24 scale is not new. Classes racing at ISRA and USRA are historically popular now but those are classes with homologated and hand-built chassis, using 0.1 Lexan thin bodies that sometimes don’t even look like a real car. Most of those classes, with the exception of Retro Racing, do not even use front wheels attached to the car.
The 124RS class is a fresh breeze, right between the great 1/32 replicas that we use and the 1/24 class that we see around the raceways in America.
