The 2020 British GT season saw the Mustang GT4 now being driven by the highly successful Academy Motorsport team. The number 61 car was piloted at the Brands Hatch GP round by two young British drivers, Jordan Albert, and Matt Crowley. Woes in qualifying put the car towards the back of the grid, but on race day the pair powered through the field and scored a brilliant and convincing win round the tight swooping confines of the GP loop.
