1/32 scale slot car, ready to run on all 1/32 and 1/24 scale non-digital tracks. Chassis XGT-2, a MKII GT40, was driven by one of the most famous F1 and sports car drivers of the era – Graham Hill. This model of the car pays tribute to the driving ace with a driver figure likeness of the man himself – complete with his trademark moustache.
Hill's teammate was supposed to have been Dr. Dick Thompson, but he was disqualified by the French officials for an obscure infraction in practice. Ford suddenly had to scramble for a driver at the last minute and came up with Brian Muir. Muir had never raced at night, never driven anything remotely as fast as the Ford Mk. II, and had never raced at LeMans, but he was available, so he was duly deputized into the team for the event and performed well until the car expired.
