Ready to run on all 1/32 scale non-digital slot car tracks.  Model of car specially prepared for speed record trials, which were a big thing in the 50s.  Many manufacturers fielded cars in an effort to set international records in various categories and reap a publicity bonanza.  Some Corvettes were road raced in a configuration very similar to this, also.
