Briggs Swift Cunningham II (1907-2003) was an American racing legend. He produced some of America’s first post-war modern sports cars and is known for constructing some of racing’s most iconic race cars. During his racing career from 1950 to 1963 he dominated the American auto racing scene, building one of the most competitive American auto racing teams of all time.
MR Slotcar presents the #3 C1 Cunningham Corvette Coupé, as raced at the 1960 24h of Le Mans. Driven by John Fitch and Bob Grossman, the car finished 1st in the GT5.0 class (8th overall), marking a successful first race for Corvette at Le Mans.
