PAINTED BODY KIT. Includes all parts shown below. This has to be one of the most beautiful and purposeful designs ever to come from Ferrari's racing department. Phil Hill and Olivier Gendebien drove this car to victory at LeMans in 1961, and another TR61 finished second for a total Ferrari triumph. MMK's model captures the classic look of the original in 1:32 scale with plenty of detail. A must for any Ferrari enthusiast's collection!
*** PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SMALL SLIT ON THE HOOD of the car for a small "windshield" like piece that DOES NOT COME with this item... It is in the photo but you will not get one with your car. You can easily make one from a 1/8 x 1/4-inch-piece of the flat clear plastic cut from flat center of the big curved windshield does come with the model.***
And here are some views of the body kit built up on a chassis.
Need a chassis for this body? See all the available universal chassis HERE. In that category you will find a variety of chassis manufactured for the purpose of building complete cars from body kits. We have tried to include in the product page for each chassis as much manufacturer's information as possible, but this is often somewhat scant. In general, your best option is to select a chassis with adjustable wheelbase so you can simply set the wheelbase to fit the body. Also, the narrower the chassis, the wider the wheels and tires you will be able to fit under any given body.
Unfortunately, because of the large selection of choices offering different performance levels and price points and because we do not have direct experience with your specific combination of track layout and surface condition, power, and racing rules we are unable to "spec" a complete car build for you. We will, however, try to answer any specific technical questions you may have.
