1/32nd scale. Resin body. Hand-made in Le Mans, France.
Scale reproduction of the Ferrari 250 TR58 that won the 1958 24 Hours of Le Mans. Eleven Ferraris lined up at the start, three of which were entered by Scuderia Ferrari.
The #14 only differed from the #12 by its left-hand drive, the other bodywork details were identical. The chassis of this vehicle finished 3rd at the Targa Florio and 5th at the 1000 kms of Nürburgring.
This 26th edition of the 24 Hours was largely disrupted by torrential weather and a series of accidents. However, the American-Belgian crew of Phill Hiill and Olivier Gendebien took the lead of the race in the 3rd hour of the race and kept it until the finish. After 4 participations, it was finally the consecration for Oliver Gendebien. This victory, which puts an end to Jaguar's three consecutive victories, ensures Ferrari a first new World Champion title before the final round of the Championship.
