1/32nd scale. Resin body. Hand-made in Le Mans, France.
Scale reproduction of the Ferrari 250 TR58 that took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1958. Eleven Ferraris lined up at the start, including 10 3L cars. Three were entered by Scudéria.
The new 250 TR58, which appeared in November 1957, was refined with left-hand drive. A large protuberance riveted to the engine hood and the passage of exhaust pipes under the two side skirts reveal the presence of the 12-cylinder engine. The original design of the front wings, which was supposed to promote better cooling of the brakes, was definitively abandoned in favor of a single-piece engine cover
The n°12 of the English crew Mike Hawthorn & Peter Collins is especially recognizable by its right-hand drive but also by the English roundels that decorate it. It retired due to clutch failure during the eleventh hour of the race.
