Carrera and Jägermeister are celebrating 50 years of Jägermeister Motorsports with the Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo ‘Jägermeister Racing Team, No.1’. This stylish speed king in an orange livery was piloted by the German racing driver Klaus Ludwig from 1980 onwards in the old DRM championship, as he drifted round the bends, overtook every rival and shot over the line to see the chequered flag. The large tail wing was typical of the racing age, making the generally bulky design ideal for long distances. The 4-cylinder inline engine generated an unbelievable 600 hp.
