Scott Bader, owner of Electric Dreams, will race three historic race cars from his collection at the 5th Annual Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival this coming weekend, June 23-24-25, at California Speedway. In addition, electric Dreams will be there in the paddock with a 4-lane Scalextric slot car track for the public to enjoy.

Scott will be driving his 1966 Corvette roadster, 1974 Lola T294, and 1978 March 77B Formula Atlantic car all three days of the event. These cars are just a small part of his collection of race cars, hot rods, exotic cars, muscle cars, and motorcycles. He is one of the leading competitors in west coast historic car racing and typically runs up front wherever he goes. This event, conducted by HSR West, will provide plenty of opportunities to see him in action on the track.

The Scalextric layout will be open to the public during the event, and anyone who would like to try out a car on the track is welcome to stop by and get in on the fun. The cars for this event will be Scalextric Porsche Boxsters and Audi TTs.

If you’ve never been to a historic car race it’s a treat for the eyes and ears not to be missed. There will be hundreds of race cars of all types, from cars only a few years removed from their days of pro racing to classics from decades past. You will be able to stroll through the paddock and see all these magnificent cars close up or view the on-track action from a variety of excellent spectating areas.
